I don't know about you but one of my challenges this summer was to get into a healthy lifestyle. In the past I never really worked out other than the occasional work-out DVD or to walk on the treadmill or jump on a stationary bike for a few weeks but I would quite because I did not keep up that habit and I never went back. This summer I am doing my best to walk for one hour a day. I love to listen to Adventures in Odyssey and each CD is roughly 60 minutes. So, I make myself walk the entire time I am listening to the three episodes on the CD.
This is only part of the battle against having a lazy, unhealthy summer. The other part is to actively watch what I eat. I have two apps on my phone which I log every thing I eat. One is MyFitnessPal and the other is LoseIt!
For this summer, I would love to have additional accountability to keep up with choosing the right meals and snacks. If all of you could check-up with me and make sure that I am not giving up this lifestyle change.
